Corinthian Equestrian Center’s first horse show of the 2018 season got underway on Saturday and Sunday, March 17th to 18th. This schooling show was part of the Hudson Valley Horse Shows (HVHS) series coordinated by Deb Core of Old Field Farms in Goshen, New York. The Course Design was by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Judge and Trainer, Ken Okken. An experienced horseman, Ken also does course design for the Garden State Horse Show in New Jersey.

Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation Riders earned double points for the Marshall & Sterling Insurance League and the Princeton Equestrian League. Riders at the show earned points to qualify for Marshall & Sterling’s national finals at HITS-on-the-Hudson in Saugerties, New York and Princeton Equestrian League’s national finals at Princeton Show Jumping in Skillman, New Jersey.

The show had a great turn out with 66 Riders and 50 Horses participating. The next HVHS show will be on April 22nd at Saddle Ridge Riding Center in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
