My grandson C. recently attended CEC summer camp, this was his first experience being around horses. The staff showed him the basics on how to interact with the horses, such as bathing, brushing as well as their overall care. C. loved to be able to take part in these hands-on activities. He also enjoyed the arts and crafts segment of the day. At the end of the week, the children put on a show for their families, I was so impressed that C. had learned so much, I believe the expertise of the staff had a lot to do with C. being so comfortable around the horses. His huge smile spoke a thousand words. He just loved CEC summer camp and can’t wait for another session with the CEC team.
My two kids and I just completed our first lesson at Corinthian Stables. We are all thrilled with the experience! The instructors were so lovely. I am just getting back into riding, and Angela was so helpful and positive. She asked what goals I had, and gave clear instructions that made getting back in the saddle so fun! We all felt welcome from the start! They are very family friendly and we especially loved getting to help take care of and tack up the horses. The horses are beautiful and well taken care of, and not your typical “lesson horse”very responsive and so very sweet too. The kids can’t wait to go back and I feel the same! Corinthian is definitely a special place, we feel very lucky to have found it!
Paradise awaits at this beautiful ranch! I recommend everything here. It’s a dream come true for riders & those that want to learn. Lee, couldn’t be more understanding, professional, her attention to every detail, pure perfection. I’ve ridden a lot of places, nothing compares to this magical place! The horses are beautifully kept, trained perfectly & treated like family. Facility is clean, grounds are impeccable!! Anyone who wants lessons, board here or anything else they offer this is the spot! I’ve never enjoyed myself more or felt so safe. Professionally at its finest. The animals are all well cared for & it shows. You won’t be disappointed. I wouldn’t trust anyone else training myself, my son & girlfriend but Lee & her trainers. Top quality. Safety is priority. I am beyond happy and grateful for the services CEC provides. The staff are professional and kind and boosts the girls confidence with the horses. They are always enthusiastic and complimentary while training the girls. Summer camp at CEC is the best in the Hudson Valley! The campers get their horse ready for the day from start to finish, which is very impressive. I travel 45 minutes for my daughter to go to CEC because it is that great! Couldn’t be happier!
CEC is such a wonderful place–the staff is welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic, and so knowledgeable. My daughter and I love spending time there to learn everything they have to teach about riding and about horsemanship. Lee and Kristin and Angela have that perfect combination of training and personality that makes CEC a valuable experience for anyone who is lucky enough to attend camp or lessons.
Molly has been taking lessons at CEC since Fall of 2019. She adores the staff and horses at the stables. Her instructor, Kristin, is patient and has helped improve Molly’s confidence and riding skills. The barn is always tidy and the horses are well cared for. We love the “family” atmosphere and always feel included. We will continue to lesson at CEC and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
At 4.5 years old, safety was a top priority for starting our daughter’s journey learning to ride. Our trainer Angela and the staff members we came into contact with at CEC treated us with kindness, patience and understanding for something totally new to us. We also didn’t feel any negativity or pressure around the barn. It’s very much a community of people from all walks, with a shared love of horses.
We have experience with several local barns and find Corinthian as an ideal choice for our daughter who absolutely loves it there and has really developed as a confident equestrian there. Corinthian while small offers her opportunities that other local places don’t. The facility is beautiful and well maintained and the staff is warm and friendly. An all around great place for horse lovers.
As a lifetime animal lover, it’s crucial to be able to fully trust that my four-legged children are safe and well cared for at all times. Boarding at Corinthian Equestrian Center affords me that sense of ease.
Six months after coming to CEC, ease becomes heartfelt delight as I observe “Zeke” and “Spen” transforming into relaxed, confident, healthier, happier souls with every passing day.
Also, I couldn’t be prouder of the way my horses are progressing in their respective riding programs. They are absolutely thriving, physically as well as mentally, with the individualized training they’re receiving from Owner/Operator Lee Dillon and Lesson Coordinator Kristin Vaccaro.
CEC Equestrian Center is a beautiful well run riding and boarding facility. Lee the owner and trainer builds confidence in her students and her horses while maintaining a fun warm welcoming attitude. The instructors teach with understanding and knowledge, adjusting their lesson to fit the level of their students. Lexi is the horse whisperer her years of experience with pony club makes her an incredible addition to this barn. The boarders are friendly and fun. The students are respectful and their parents and the boarders together form a fun atmosphere. The horses are happy and healthy with great turnout and clean stalls. The men who take care of our horses are amazing, kind and caring. We are so lucky to have them. I came to this barn an insecure rider and Lee gave me the attention and confidence to not only ride at 75 but to buy a horse. This is our happy place.
